One of the changes is Microsoft entered the video game market with its Xbox. The Xbox gain a huge market share in the North American Market in a short period of time. On the other hand, Nintendo released the Nintendo Wii which developed a new market of the female, children and seniors gamers. Although Sony's Play Station 3 (PS3) has the most advance technology in picture and multimedia (Blue Ray DVD) feature, it has problem in gaining marketing share and sales because of its high price.
